Check-Up if you feel dizzy

DURATION: 3 DAYS 

  • Consultation of a specialist neurologist  – first appointment prior to check-up. Headache can often be a symptom of various neurological diseases and pathologies of blood vessels in the neck and head;
  • Ultrasound (US, USG) Duplex scanning of blood vessels of the head with colour dopplerography and spectral analysis – specialists assess the risks of blood clot formation or the presence of blood clots, as well as the condition of the vessel walls of the head and blood flow rate;
  • Ultrasound (US, USG) Duplex scanning of blood vessels of the legs (arteries or veins) with colour dopplerography and spectral analysis – specialists assess the risks of blood clot formation or the presence of blood clots, as well as the condition of the vessel walls of the legs and blood flow rate;
  • Ophthalmologist's consultation – to rule out ophthalmologic diseases, which can also be manifested by dizziness and (or) headache;
  • Otolaryngologist's (ENT specialist) consultation – to rule out the issues in paranasal sinuses and/or hearing which are often accompanied by dizziness and (or) headache;
  • Full blood count (diagnostics of infections, anaemia, other common diseases of the body) ;
  • Blood chemistry
    • Blood sugar (glucose level);
    • Blood cholesterol level: total cholesterol and fractions — LDL, HDL, TG — shows the risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases;
  • Digital X-rays (Rtg) of the cervical spine and functional tests ;
  • Рентгенография (Rtg) носовых пазух для исключения острых или хронических воспалительных процессов в синусоидальных (гайморовых, околоносовых, лобных) пазухах;
  • X-rays (Rtg) of nasal sinuses to rule out the acute or chronic inflammation of the sinusoidal (maxillary, nasal, frontal) sinuses ;
  • Final consultation of a neurologist – after all examinations, the physician will analyse findings and determine the cause of headache. The patient will receive a detailed excerpt with the diagnosis and a list of all treatment and prevention-related measures.
